About the Event
Step into The Other Studios, a joyful, welcoming space where you can slow down, get creative, and try something new with oil paint. This cosy, hands-on workshop is perfect for anyone who loves the idea of making art in a relaxed, inspiring environment. Whether you’ve never picked up a brush or you’re coming back to it after a break.
What Will It Cover?
We’ll kick things off with a little sketching, nothing fancy, just simple lines and shapes to get you looking and loosened up. Then we’ll jump into painting straight away, turning your drawing into a lively landscape using the alla prima (wet-on-wet) technique. It’s all about going with the flow, playing with colour, and enjoying the process. Expect a friendly demo, plenty of encouragement, and a fun, free-spirited atmosphere.
