About the Event
Inspired by Hannah Höch’s radical photomontages, this session explores collage as disruption. We will rip, cut and layer to explore solidarity and self-expression. We will do it in good company, with space to share, talk and connect.
Rip It Up: A Collage Workshop Series
Four standalone workshops. Come to one, come to all. Each is about making, talking, and being together. Art as community, craft as resistance, creativity as care.
Collage is not polite. It rips, cuts and pastes the world back together on its own terms. From Dada troublemakers to feminist zines and protest posters, it has always been art that bites back. Across this series we explore solidarity, resistance and self-expression. Together we cut, layer and reimagine, turning scraps into a chorus of collective voices.
No training. No rules. Just scissors, glue and the courage to speak through making.
